Communication

The Band app is a great resource for group chats, music, and pictures. Music will be uploaded here as well as pictures from our events! This app is great for the big band group chat between the students and watching them conneect!  

Google Classroom is a great resource for homework assignments. This will be an app that is connected to their email and will have school announcements. This will manly be utilized for e-learning days to turn in assignments.

Gmail is the student's email home page. I will send messages to Gmail and the Band App. Students and parents can send email to me though this app. The best email to contact me:  emma.boyd5731@panthers.greenville.edu

ScreenPal is a video recording software. Students will be able to record themselves playing and send it to me. The program also allows students to video themselves and their screen, which we will utilize for theory assignments. 

Remind is a communication app. It is mostly used for announcements and individual messaging. This will be used in the case of a snow day or near concert days for quick reminders. 

Facebook is going to house our social media for the band! I will post pictures and announcements. Our band page will be a spot where parents can connect with each other. I will post pictures and videos of the musicians for parents to see them having fun and hard at work!
